Ken Johnson, the 2022 Citizen of the Year!! Ken it is our honor to award you this special recognition.
Ken’s nomination stated: “Ken loves Othello, loves the citizens young and old, has the heart of gold and would virtually give the shirt off his back. Ken has been involved for decades with the Christmas baskets. First following his fathers foot steps then engaging to make sure all those of need are able to celebrate the holidays. He not only has encouraged his family, friends, strangers or anyone within range to help. This project does not get off the ground in just a month but he’s constantly 12 months of the year thinking and working so families can get a little of what we all take for granted. A holiday family dinner, presents to open and needed food supplies to help get through the winter. This man has the biggest heart.”
