City of Ritzville issued the following announcement on June 18.
The city received a request from a grandson whose grandma (Glenys, "Glen") was pen pals with a woman named Margie who was a Ritzville resident in 1953.
His grandma passed away recently and he came across these letters and would like to pass them onto the pen pal's family. Margie may have married a gentleman named Clarence according to the letters. Attached is one of the letters along with a photo of Margie (bride), her dad and mom. Does anyone recognize this family?
