As the 2020-2021 school year approaches, Moses Lake’s school district’s new plan reveals that students and families will be allowed to choose how the student's education model will be presented.
The board plans will be discussed on July 30 in a board meeting. The board will also touch on how to implement each one in the proposed options that will be available to families.
The first approach is blended learning, according to the plan. Blended Learning will be accessible to all parents who want their children to learn in person, but also be aware of the current public health concerns.
The second approach is on-campus learning. On-campus learning will be accessible to all parents to learn in a face to face environment. This option would be like a normal learning environment with as much in-person instruction as possible.
The third option is to continue remote learning, according to the plan. Parents will also have the option to choose to keep their children on the remote learning program. They can start with this option and or switch to a different option at the semester change.
