City of Moses Lake recently issued the following announcement.
Date: Friday, November 6, 2020
We invite you to experience the bold and gestural brush paintings of artist Judi Kalin in our Community Gallery. Kalin specializes in sumi; a type of Japanese ink applied to rice paper. She has been honing her craft for the past four decades working in a variety of media including ink, acrylic, oil, and mixed media. Come be moved by her fresh nature-inspired works this winter season! “For me, painting is a process of suggesting information and mood to the viewer using technique, color, line, and value on any given surface. I attempt to relate to them emotionally. I am continually intrigued by the beauty around us and the ever-changing landscapes that our Lord has created. My joy is to attempt to create a fresh understanding of what He has already created.” -Kalin This show will be on display until January 15, 2021.
