Electric City issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
The Delano Transfer Station will be closing at noon on Thursday Christmas Eve (12/24) and closed all day Christmas Day (12/25).
They will also be closed at noon on Thursday, New Year's Eve (12/31) and closed all day New Year's Day (1/1).
