Adams County Sheriff's Office recently issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Today several Othello High School Seniors, came to the Sheriff’s Office for a site visit.
These Students came to learn what we do at the Sheriff’s Office. Some were interested to know about the many differing jobs available at the Sheriff’s Office such as Road Deputy, Corrections Deputy, and Dispatchers.
Some are interested in a career in law enforcement, some are here to just learn and complete an assignment. Both are welcomed.
Some were surprised at the differences between a Sheriff’s Office and a City Police Department.
They will be touring the Ritzville Sheriff’s Office to include portions of the jail, dispatch and the firing range.
This group was very attentive and engaged in the conversations.
