Cold Burglary in Lind

Adams County Sheriff's Office recently issued the following announcement on March 11.

On 03/03/2022, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a cold burglary at 1000 BLK E 2nd St in Lind.  A large number of brass fittings and other property were taken from the shop. About 75 pounds of stolen brass fittings was later recovered in Moses Lake. 

Through investigation, information was developed to apply for a search warrant for stolen property at the 4600 BLK Rd U in Grant County.

On 03/08/2022 at about 2326 hours, Adams County deputies along with Grant County and Moses Lake Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) executed a search warrant at the 4600 BLK Rd U in Grant County for stolen property.  

During the search, a small amount of brass was recovered.  Also, during the execution of the search warrant, multiple subjects were contacted at the property.  

Three subjects located had active Adams County warrants for their arrest. Those subjects were identified as 55-year-old Marla A. Duplichan of Warden, 

32-year-old Noe Duarte of Warden, 

and 30-year-old Marcus Chamberlain of Ritzville.  

Duplichan, Duarte, and Chamberlain were arrested and later booked into the Adams County jail for their warrants.
