The City Council adopted Resolution 3889 on March 22nd to establish the Advisory Council on Housing. The Committee will provide a collaborative approach to address housing needs in the City and provide policy recommendation to Council for future housing development regulations. The Advisory Council on Housing is limited to a duration of six months. Meetings will occur on April 20, May 4, May 18, June 1, June 15, July 6, August 3, September 7 and October 5. The following community represented positions are open for appointment: non-profit housing provider, developer, landlord, real estate, business owner or representative, and community member.
Interested persons need to review and acknowledge the commitments required for the Task Force in the Advisory Council on Housing Guidelines and submit a completed Application Form by Wednesday, March 30.
