On 04/01/2022 36-year-old Tawni Elisabeth Jahns of Othello was found guilty by a Jury trial for Trafficking Stolen Property. She was released and a sentencing hearing was scheduled.
On 04/18/2022, Jahns arrived at the sentencing hearing and fled the courtroom prior to being sentenced, leading to probable cause for Escape. An arrest warrant was issued for Jahns.
On 04/23/2022 at approximately 2000 hours, Deputies observed a Dodge Caravan in the 2100 BLK of W Cunningham Rd. Deputies have seen Jahns in the vehicle multiple times. The Dodge stopped and multiple subjects exited. Deputies searched the area and located Jahns.
Jahns was arrested and booked into the Adams County Jail for Fleeing Sentencing and for Trafficking Stolen Property.
