A very humbling experience, today Undersheriff Coronado and I were approached by Aaron Philips. Aaron spoke softly as he expressed his gratitude for our service and how he was grateful for law enforcement.
As or conversation proceeded, Aaron explained that he grew up in the town of Uvalde Tx. His demeanor was reverent as he expressed how he felt of the recent issues and incident his home town was facing.
We discussed many things. It was a great conversation. A few things I learned from Aaron, we all feel for those in crisis or need. We all want to help in anyway we can. We all are trying to make our communities in which we live better and most of all, no matter where we live, no matter how far we are from home! Home is always home.
I know that we feel the pain of others in crisis.
