The City of Ritzville spent preparing bills in the new utility billing software system

The City of Ritzville spent preparing bills in the new utility billing software system. Due to this new conversion, the bills were mailed today, Monday, August 15th, which is the day we wanted to have all the bills out to customers. The bills were mailed locally and we are anticipating the bills will be in customer's mailboxes by the middle or end of this week.

Also due to the conversion process, if a customer made a payment last week, it will not reflect on the bill that you will receive in the mail as staff receipted those payments into the new system today.

If you are an autopay, ACH direct payment withdrawal from your bank account customer, the payment will come out of your account on August 25th.

If you are an online bill paying customer through Invoice Cloud, that system is no longer syncing with our utility system as of Friday, August 12th. If you pull up your bill in that system, it will not have the most current information. The system is still able to take your payment on the date you chose and staff manually inputs it into the new system. There will be more information coming soon regarding signing up with the new online payment system.

As this is also the first bill for the new billing cycle, your utility bill may be higher as it covers usage for one month and two weeks. As per the new billing cycle, payments are due by August 25th.

As with all new processes, it will take time for all of us to adjust to the new billing cycle and utility system. At any time you have questions or concerns about your utility bill, please call city hall at (509) 659-1930, email samantha.nagy@ritzville-wa.us or stop by city hall at 216 E Main. We greatly appreciate your patience as we improve our systems and customer service.
