Weather Impacts to Libraries

We strive to keep our libraries and outreach services operating through all kinds of weather — from extreme heat to bitter cold. But sometimes, Mother Nature makes it extra challenging!

Today, heavy snowfall and unsafe road conditions forced the closure of our Republic and Curlew libraries in Ferry County.

In addition, the parking lot at the Coulee City branch library is inaccessible. The library is still open, though, and our staff is offering curbside pickup. You can call the library at 509-632-8751 or email the library at couleecity@ncwlibraries.org create new email to request materials, then stop out front and staff will bring it to your car.

We love living and working in an area that experiences four incredible seasons. Thank you for your patience and support as we work hard to deliver library services through all of them!
